but I was unable to positively identify.

I have mixed feelings about caterpillars in my yard because they can do so much damage before they change into lovely flying critters.

That's a good shot of the larvae. It blends well with the leaves.
I love to put a name to these little guys, but sometimes I can't. Lovely photos and I just love to see the little things that others might overlook...Thank you for posting to Nature Notes and your kind comments.. Michelle
