underside of pod shows that a critter of some sortmust have taken a bite out of it before it dropped

Great post, I've never seen the morel mushroom. I hav hear dof them though.
These are great shots. The morel mushroom is so beautiful. I love mushrooms (both the edible ones as well as all of them to look at). I think mushrooms are as beautiful as flowers.

I like that you took natural things that would be most likely overlooked. Funny about where that mushroom was able to grow..I thought they liked darkish, damp places... Michelle
